About the position
The Hushållningssällskapet Östergötland is looking for an additional crop production advisor to join the team. We work closely with our clients to provide advice aimed at strengthening and improving their crop production and economic results. Our employees are given significant responsibility backed by the collective expertise of Hushållningssällskapet.
Our role is to support farmers throughout the entire crop production year. We assist with crop planning for the upcoming season and review the need for purchasing inputs. In the spring, we help apply for EU support. When the field season begins, we are on-site to assess establishment, emergence, fertilization needs, pest control needs, and follow-up advice. Once the crop production is completed for the year, we conduct a post-calculation to evaluate the economic situation for each crop. We primarily work with recurring clients, where we become well-acquainted with the farms' conditions.
About you
We are looking for an advisor with strong communication and pedagogical skills, who enjoys working in a team closely with colleagues, but can also manage customer responsibilities independently. An analytical and solution-oriented approach, combined with an interest in sustainable agriculture, is essential. Attention to detail in administration and a service-oriented attitude towards customers and colleagues are important, as is professionalism in managing time reporting and invoicing. A good ability to express oneself in spoken and written Swedish is a prerequisite.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities, where social competence, quality thinking, and a service mindset are important. Since we work long-term with our clients, it is essential that you see this position as a commitment where you grow and develop alongside our clients and colleagues. We are looking for someone who is passionate about agriculture and sees economic sustainability as a central part of the advisory process.
